MYC membership benefits include a full service restaurant and bar; an active marina; on-and-off water events, a swimming pool, and an ever-growing array of fun activities.

We offer televised sporting events, holiday parties, table and card games, a book club, costume parties, group presentations, and an array of other activities. Our pool is open for member use, water aerobics and private events. The YMCA holds morning swimming classes and a youth sailing program throughout the summer.

Our talented chef prepares delicious meals that are offered on our MYC Menu and at periodic dinner buffets, Sunday brunches, oyster roasts, crab feasts, wine tastings, beer blasts, cocktail parties, and special food related events. Members are allowed to bring their own liquor and wine for on-site consumption or can order specialty cocktails and other beverages from our fully stocked bar. We think our bartender Jen is the best around!

MYC members enjoy easy access to our marina and our active boating programs:

• Our ‘Boathouse Club’ provides members with access to small sailboats, kayaks, and larger boats.

• MYC cruisers participate in 6-10 cruises every year ranging from overnighters to two-week journeys.

• Fishermen can use our fish cleaning station and participate in our annual Striper competition.

• Kayakers enjoy exploring Mathews County’s numerous waterways.

• The MYC is a member of Yachting Club of America(YCA) and Chesapeake Bay Yacht Clubs Association(CBYCA). Registered clubs usually offer reciprocity to MYC members. This typically includes use of the club’s facilities and ability to rent transient dockage on a space available basis, often free or at a reduced fee.

• Our marina has a broad range of slips that can handle vessels ranging from 50+ ft. yachts to <14 ft. runabouts.
